ZURICkI Datars then wheeled her lovely wine
pram doll carriage laden with a bas-
ket of gifts and presented the Coup -
land family. A reply of gratefulness
was expressed. The guests were
then ushered to the dining room,
where a decorated table fitted for the
occasion was laden with delicious re-
freshments. The evening had passed
only too quickly. With best wishes
to the Coupland family who are mov-
ing away from our midst and.make
new friends elsewhere, they will be
leaving Zurich with fond memories
of this good social evening.

Were Entertained
A lovely time was enjoyed on Fri-
day evening at the home of Mrs.
Clarence Datars when she and sev-
eral neighbours were hostess to
neighbours and friends in honour of
Mrs. Jack Coupland prior to them
moving to their new Biome in
Fenelon Falls, in the near future.
The 'evening was spent in play-
ing progressive crokinole. After
which Mrs. ,Coupealnd was asked to
take the special guest chair, and with
remarks by Mrs. Datars expressing
the neighbour's regret of the fam-

Henry Strang, 89, who died at his
home her were held Monday at 2 p.

United Church held a social evening
for their members and those who

Games and contests were enjoyed,
and adainty lunch served.
Kippen friends regret to learn of
Mr. Harry Caldwell is confined to his
bed with a bad knee.
Gerald Parsons spent a week at
Guelph, where he took a short course
at the OAC.
