On Saturday last the feast of the

as well the Feast terminates the New!

feast dates back many centuries in
church circles, it is also the remnants
of New Year Gaity; the New Yeai•
Festival is more commonly celebrated
by the French race, and therefore,
we in this little 'French Isolated par-
ish have inherited the custom from
our Quebec ancestors; it is tradition-
al, being passed on from generation
to generation, and a feast that we
always welcome and enjoy, and to
the youth they show what they stand
for.
