The feast dates back many centuries in church circles, it is also the remnants of New Year Gaity; the New Yeai• Festival is more commonly celebrated by the French race, and therefore, we in this little 'French Isolated par- ish have inherited the custom from our Quebec ancestors; it is tradition- al, being passed on from generation to generation, and a feast that we always welcome and enjoy, and to the youth they show what they stand for. They were taken to London Hospital on Harry Hoffman's aimbu lance -where Oxygen was administer- ed on the way down. A largely at- tehded funeral service for Mrs. Rid- ley was held Tuesday in Grand Bend United Church, with Rev. K.
