to incorporate Grand Bend as a vil-
lage within ,Laxnbton County proves
successful, and election may be held

incorporation has so far been limited
to certification pf the petition by J.
Huey, •County 'elerk, and the appoint-
ment of Fred Moly, Thedford, to take
a census of the community. A min-
imum of 750• population is necessary
for incorporation. A by-law autheriz-
ing the" incorporation is . now being
drafted by Mr!Huey. If passed, it will
be filed for three months, during
which appeals against it may be fil-
ed. Majority of the villagers , report-
edly want their tonununit in Lamb -
ton because it would then come un-
der the jurisdiction of the Liquor
!Control Act of Ontario. In Huron.
County the Canada Teinperance Act
is in force.
