ition at Ottawa for the summer has
returned and is snending a few days
with his narents, Mr and Mrs. Jacob
Haberer in town.

past week. Farmers are threshing and

that it is now to never if harvest is

In :some cases fields are too welt yet
for harvest equipment.
A considerable acreage of white
beans have now been pulled in the
south end of the County, however,
this crop has suffered badly from
rust and mildew as a result of the
excess rainfall. Again many bean
fields are too wet for 'harvesting
equipment. Much land has been
prepared for ,fall wheat, but *IS crop
will not the seeded until harvesting is
eomplelted.
Dorn and sugar 'beets still 'continue
to make excellent 'growth and pastu-
res are considerably. above manual
for thIiss season of the year. New
seedings of 1956 have made such ex-
ceptional growth with the6se. fields
comparing favourable tot he saoond
cut hay 'fields.
