Geo. McLeod and Clarence Hohri-
er of Hensall, can ,consider t'nelnsely-
es very lucky as they escaped death
in an accident Friday eve., 17th, a
male and a quarter north of Htensall
on No. 4 Highway. MoLeod driving
a 1054 Mercury conrvertable travell-
ing south told Police he was blinded
by the lights :of an oncoming car, '
he went oin to west soft shoulder of
Highway,, wheeled back ion the high-
way, lost control, proceeded into
east ditch, struck telephone pole,
,ear rolled and both were thrown out.

and friends enjoyed airplane bunco,
a ,mock wedding and composing of
a bridal book. Following a reading
by Eleanor Becker,. Margaret was
presented with a net of .glasses, dres-
ser lamps and electric mixer, Marg-
aret made -an appreciative reply.
