in Zurich, on May 1210th and were

WE CONGRATULATE THEM!
We join the many friends of Zur-
i'ch and vicinity in extending con-
gratulations to Mr and Mrs William
O'Brien of town in the celebration of
their diamond wedding anniversary
ion Sunday June 3rd, 1956. Very
,seldoan is a couple honored to cele-
brate this event, in fact not too
many have the pr•i`vilege of celebrat-
ing the fiftieth anniversary, and we
can only say it is a special privilege
by Providence. And. this genial ,couple
of sixty -years ago, are well worthy
of this event. Fortunately the
groom's brother, John, from the Can-
adian. (West and who was best man
at the weddiing, was present for the
occasion. Mr. O'Brien is the son of
the late Mr and Mrs Roswell O'Brien
of the Blue Water Highway, (Sauhle
Line) at that time, and the couple
farmed there kir two years and later
Mr. O'Brien was manager of a pro-
duce business in Zurich for 27 years
He still enjoys hunting and fishing,
and seldi:,m misses a hockey or ball
game in the vicinity. The cou.pl.e at-
tend Zurich Evangelical U. B. church.
There are two sons living, Lloyd and
Leroy, and a daughter, Miss Olive,
who teaches school here. The boys
are also in business in town. The
many friends who visited them on
Sunday of whom Mr. and Mrs. Thos.
Phycle of Exeter were among them,
wished the happy -couple many more
years of good health and happiness.
