St. Joseph & Blue Water Area
On Friday last a very enjoyable
birthday party was held at the home
of Mrs. Josephine Ducharme, it be-
ing the occasion of her 75th birth-
day. Most of her children and oth-
ers took part, including her daught-
er,Sister, Frances! Rrure-i+a and Sis-
ter (Marie Lalamonde. Both in St.
J+c�se�ph order and of London. Gifts
and good wishes were extended to
Mrs. D.ucharme for many more years
and birthdays.
Wedding receptions were held in
the parish hall and also in Zurich
Community Centre on -Saturday last
where large attendances took place
by relatives and friends and the best
of luck goes to the two, young coup-
les for a happy and prosperous fut-
ure.
Mr Gerard Geoffroil of Walkerton
wind girl friend, r1VIiss Carol Fluime,
of that same town, took part in
Saturday's reception and as well
visiting the former's home and fri-
ends in this neighborhood.
Mr and Mrs Oliver Cantin and Miss
Valerie Cantin all of Detroit were
Sunday last visitors with the formers

Mr. Ed Corriveau has completed
his utility room. The Geoffroi con-
tractors were in charge.
Farmers have been faced with
much difficulty in completing their
grain seeding;. Much headwork had
to be planned to pick out the few
dry days son^e the opening of spring.
There are st'll more headaches ahead
for them for the rbean seeding, al-
ready the time is here for that too,
and with a few more wet weeks a-
head of ibrtiken weather, they will
have to watch the first sunshine
spell.
