It being the occasion_ of Mrs. Brenner's 87th birthday. Mrs. Brenner being very grateful for their presence •and ,enjoyed the day with her children. Quikley of Detroit spent a few days in their cottage in the new summer survey on the high- way. On Saturday evening last a very enjoyable evening was spent at the home of Mr and Mrs .Louis Du- charme of the 14th .Concession when the alchemies tendered an, evening of pleasiurre to about 75 people, it being the occasion of their silver wedding anniversary. All of their family 'of twelve were present.Those married aith their better half, be- sides members of both family. Ne- edless to say at this rparty there was much enjoyment. • The thicharme's were married 25 years ago in this parish church. Mrs. Ducharene was before marriage Therese •Screenan, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. Arthur Screenan, long time residents of the parish: In the wee hours of of the morning the party formed a ring and wished the brikle and groom of 25 -year ago, many more happy .and prosperous years.
