Late Mrs. Harry Weber
Mrs. Eanrna1ine Weber, •89, died at
the Maples Rest I-Tlome, Taviist'ock,
after a brief illness, .13orn in New
Hamburg, Feb. 15, 1867, Si*was
a daughter of the late Mr arid Mrs.
Charles Brill, pdbneer residents of
Zurich...The 'Weber family' were
born and mostly raised in. Z:ueich, be-
fore the family moved to Preston
over 40 years ago. She was a Memb-
er of St. Paul's United i hunch; Pres-
ton.' Surviving are four sons, Hurley
of Grand Bend, John of Hollywood,
Fla • Kenneth off Kitchener and Cecil

day, April 16th at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Milfred. Merner, was
the former Margaretha'Haberer, of
of Buffalo; two daughters, Mrs. Hay Township, near Zurich and a

ward, Ferd, Theodore and Jacob all
of Zurich Resting at the Hoffman
Funeral Home Dashwood, where ser-
vice is being held this Wednestray at
2 p.m., followed by services in Zion
Lutheran :Church at 2:30 p.m. In-
teznnent in the Bronson. li+ne Luth-
eran cemetery. ,Rev. Louis Higeneil
the pastor, officiating.
Centennial News
A tentative program has none ;been
drawn up and whereas it is not .com-
plete we feel that it is definite en-
ough that we can let the public know
what they can expect.
The Celebration will begin on
Sunday, July- (last with Special Serv-
ices in the local •churches and there
will be a Band Concert in the even-
ing followed at Midnight by a •dance
with Liaonel Thornton and Orchestra.
The Parade and Ceremonies will take
place on Monday with •sports activ-
ities and in the evening there will be
Professional Wrestling followed by a
dance. Tuesday's entertainment will
-include School 'Open House, a ball
game and 1. the eventing' a Huge
. ldome, 'Talent. ,shops including a show-
ing of slides by Barry •ess. Wed-
nesday is. Band Tatoo day with a
Pygama Street Dance in the evening.
There are many snare :terns being
a.rxanged to keep everyone entertain-
ed.

Hartman,, daughter of Mrs. Theresa
Hartman, was united in marriage to:
Gregory Fleming, son of Mr and Mrs;
Pativck Fleming of Mount Cannel.
Rey. Fr. 'Hugh Fleming, brother off'

Given in marriage by her etd'est
brother, Victor, the bride 'Honked
lovely gowned in traditional white
(brocaded satin featueing a chinese
neckline with a yolk insetting' of
nylon tulle. The volumious three
tiered skirt, falling feoan .princess
lines was edged with white, velvet.
She carried a white satiie p,:nrayer
book topped with red roses and
streamers of rose buds and ferns.
.Mrs Louis Farwell, only sister of
the bride, and Miss I'hyllies Deitrieh,
as `the bride's attendae..ts, wore rd-
en.t;leal gowns of blue• and yellow
brocaded tafl'etta, respectivelywere
styled similarly to (halt of tberide's.
They carried yellow and blue: •earnat-
dons.
The ,groom was attended by his
brother Toni. Fleming and the bride's
brother Raymond' Hartman. Ushers I
were also the bride's brothers, Law-
