Dissolve 1 pkg. cherry
jelly powder in 3 cup
boiling water; cool until
it begins to thicken.
More wonderful
Meantime, pour 06cups
evaporated milk into
refrigerator freezer .tray.
Freeze till crystals line

into chilled bowl and
beat until stiff.
Beat in tbsp. grated
lemon rind and 1.i cup
lemon juice Gradually
beat in I cup sugar, then
the partially thickened
jelly. Beat until mixture
forms soft peaks.
FROSTING
•
Chill.foldingoccasionalhe
until mixture holds its
shape. Spoon into trough
in cake. Replace top slice.
Frost cake with remain-
ing mixture. Chill till firm.
