TURNIPS CANNED SUCCESS- FULLY • The announcement was made re- cently by A. H. Wildford, manager of the (Western. Ontario Trade Fair, Blyth, that rutabagas, known as tar - nips, have been successfully canned and the product has been sent for official registration which when done will be the kickoff for a National Rutabaga Feast. The canning is exp- ected to expand th.e market 'because then oversized and spotted skinned ones can be used for the canning process.
