Chapter JII Oct. 22, 23, 1955.
For breakfast we had poridge,
eggs, bread, butter and jam and were
supposed to make coffee, ,but didn't
get around to doing so. After break-
fast we aired out tents and bedding,
Then we went on a .compass hike
in which we were supposed to go
true north to the river, then. south
west for thirteen minutes, then south-
east until we hit the highway or any

cake for desert.
