day in London.
Messrs 3. W. and Theodore llab-
erer are attending a convenfior. in

Mrs. George Hess spent Saturday
with her husband who is at S. Jos-

Mrs. Marjorie Williams has return-
ed home after visiting with relatives
and friends at Hensall and :Exeter.

Turkheim spent a day in Kitchener
the past week.
Mrs. George Gruneau of Ann
Arbor, Mich., returned home after
a visit in town with relatives and

Nice Winter Weather
The mild weather over tee week-
end took away the snow, but turning
colder on IVlond,ay with some snow,
the ground is now covered with a
light layer of the beautiful wr: te.' It
is ideal winter weather for this time
of year and the weeks are slipping a-
long, and soon the Yuletide season
will be upon us with all it's fond
memories and signifances.

The Ladies' Aid and W'VIS. of the
Evangelical UB. Church, Zurich, en-
tertained the 'Goshen •Line aha the

picture slides of the !fifteen countries
they visited on their tour this sum-
mer in Europe, The time sped so
rapidly, that some pictures were om-
itted for a latter date. Refreshments
were served by the Committee and a
social time was enjoyed.
Farm Forum
The Unique Farm Forum held its
meeting at the home of Mr and Mrs
;Harold Horner with 30 members
present. The topic Can Farmers nave
old age security". Taken by Aaron
0estreichear created lively discussion.
Question No- 1 regarding retirement
for the farmer was answered thus ---
It is best to retire off the farm.
Question No. 2, How should farmers
prepare Efianacia1ly, for this retire-
ment? A fawner should lay aside
a ',certain portion of his yearly income,
invest it in Government Bonds and
carry a substantial life insurance.
The topic for next week, Dec. '12 is
Planning against disaster, will be
token by Mr, ;Cliiiord,'Pepper, The
meeting will be held at the home of
Mr and Mrs. Clarence 'Schade. An
exchange of gifts will be the high-
lights of this meeting.. After a short
recreation period Mrs. Horner serv-
ed a delicious lunch, The meeting
closed with the singing of the Nat-

up, they should retire and let some
