Pleasantly Surprized
While your pubilisher, his wife and
daughter and son-in-law, ihir. and Mrs
P. J. Cunningham. of Port Credit,
were enjoying a quiet visit in the
living room of the former's home on
Saturday evening, unexpectedly the
front door bell rang, and like most
other men, they send. the good wife
to open the door, and upon such a
venture behold who did she have the
pleasure of meeting was our good
friend, Alvin Waiver, dressed up as
never (before, not on an auction sale
errand as usuallly is the case, but
this time an introduction to what he
calls "the finest lady of the land"
as every other man calls his life
'companion. Some think it took
this couple longer than the average
to make up their minds for this ven-
ture in life, but we know they choose
well and wisely. What a beautiful
picture it w culd have (made still in
their wedding attire, and then the
bride's sister and husband Mr. and
Mrs. Wurm of Exeter, in similar
wedding attire. We shall never for- $
get this lovely panorama. The for-
mer couple having been marriel. only1
a few hours previous in Zion Luth- 1
eras Church, Dashwood, at a beauti-1
ful Candlelight Service, and nobody
knew a thing about it till it was all
over. We wish this fine and popular
young couple the very best that life
can give them, and we know they will
'be hosts to their many friends in the
fine newly constructed home in Dash-
wood, which has been under reno-
vation for some time, We have learn-
ed to know you and love you both
the past few years and are ver;'
grateful for this call, and our wish
goes out to you for God's Richest
Blessings in your journey of life.
