,Mr. Robert Williams was a visitor
at Goderich on Sunday.
Mr and Mrs Leonard Bender, of
London, were Sunday visitors at the
home of ''Mr and Mrs Josiah Geiger.
Mr and Mrs Marley 'Witmer of
Detroit were Sunday visitors with re-
latives here.
Rev. and Mrs. H. E. Roppet were
at Kitchener one day 'last week, the
former attending ,coununittee meetings
Dr. and Mrs Archie 'MacKinnon of
Galt were Sunday visitors with their
mother, Mrs. M. MacKinnon of Zur-
ich.
Mrs. :P. J. Cunningham, formerly
of Pembroke, is visiting at the home
of her parents, Mr and Mrs ,Chester
L. Smith'o,f town.
Mr and Mrs Victor Dinnin and son
Billie, were Sunday guests at the

County Home New Manager
Mr. Harve„ 1 C. Johnston has sold
his farm in Morris Township, near
Walton, to Henry Stryker of Drayton
who came to Candor. from Holland
six years ago. Mr. Johnston is mov-
ing to Clinton where he has been
appointed. farm manager at the Hur-
on County Home succeeding E. J.
Jacob. Mr. Johnston war warden of
Huron County in 1952 and has been
business manager at the Home for
the past year.

Final tribute to one of Goderich's Imost •prominent physicians, Dr. J. M.
Graham, was paid in North Street
United Church, Friday last at 3 p.m.
Rev. 1-1, A. Dickenson, pastor, had

04 died in the Hospital after an
illness for a few months. A native of
Ashfield Twp, he was born at ;hep-
ipardton and graduated from the Un-
iversity of Toronto in 1997 and came

The Drysdale Store
We have purchased Stock and Fixtures of Drys-
dale Store from John Denomy and have added
various lines of Drygoods, such as Prints, Broad-
cloths, Flannelettes, Men's Overalls, Work Shirts,
Jeans, Gloves, etc. Also a line of smallwares.
We are remodeling the Store and intend to have
Grocery Department arranged for semi self -serve in
the near future.
Mr. Denomy will continue in charge of Store.

consisting of tapproximately 4,315 feet of open drain.
