Dudley Holmes in county police c-aurt. The accused was driver iof a car involved in collision at a county rood intersection, four miles sorutheast of Exeter. Driver of the second car was Glenn Nixon of near Seaforth. Mrs. Minnie i'ym was hurled from her husband's ear in the Usborne Twp. crash, and was dead on arrival at Victoria Hospital, Lon- don. She was the only occupant of both ears to have 1, - en itNted. We find ourselves mired in jab work, a voters list to get out, a bunch of Insurance Policies to be printed, besides a whole hook full of smaller! j.obs, so here's hoping we will be able to do some of these jobs and not alone feel better o.urselves, but make our .estorners feel likewise. So don't be looking or calling for a paper next week. WE EXTEND SYMPATHY We join the many sympathizing friends of Mr and Mrs J. M. South- cott, publishers of the Exeter Times Advocate in the loss of their only daughter, Miss Florence M. Southcott 32, who died .on Tuesday in Victoria Hospital, London. Miss Southcott was a graduate of Westervelt Busin- ess School, London and was engaged in 'secretarial work, and a meanter of YWCA. EarMer this year she compl- eted a course at the CNIB School, Toronto, and was planning tareturn to her work in London, when she was taken ill. Surviving besides her par- ents are two brothers, Robert and, Donald, of Exeter. The remains are resting at the family reidence, Exe- ter till -Thursday afternoon when fun- eral ervices will be conducted in the Hopper -Hockey funeral home, by the Rev. H. J. Snell, Exeter and her uncle the Rev. R. E. Southcott, of Oil City. Interment in Exeter cemetery. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Emmerson Erb and the groom is the son of Mr am: Mrs. Josiah Steckle. The !bride wore ,a, street length dress of white sculpturd nylon. Ste car- ried a white Bible with a lace hand- kerchief and wore a red rose corsage She •was attended by M i ss Shirley Gingerich who also wore a street length dress of blue nylon. She carried a lace ,handkerehief and wore a pink rose !corsage. The groom was attended by his brotherMr. Clayton Steckle and the ushers were Carl Gingerich, London, and Albert Smith, Markham Rev. Ephriam Gingerich gave an interesting, talk on "Th s Flame." Rev. Albert Martin officiated.
