Many Attended Anniversary
Large gatherings were in attend
time at the anniversary 'services held
in the Zurich Evangelical U.B. church
rain Sunday. , The guest speaker, Rev.
Gordon Geiger •gave two powerful
messages, warming the people of be-
coing lukewarm in their spiritual
'life. The church choir and the men's
chorus 'provided special music. An
appeal was made for the" annual
special contribution.
BAYFIELD FALL FAIR
I Was held last Thursday .afternoon,
it vwas a bright sunny day, one ' of
the best livestock exhibits in 'years
land an enlarged midway for the chmi-
ldren added up to one of the best
fairs in its history Features of the
Fair was the iGoderich Girls' Trump-
et Band .which led a parade of school
'children into the grounds early in
the afternoon .and then performed
precision drills to -the delight of the
youngsters A large crowd .was pre-
sent. The judging of live stock in the
• show ring was a big attraction, and
interest ran high.
