HAD WET FAIR Rain and drizzle on Tuesday af- ternoon spoiled to a large extent the attendance of the Zurich Fall Fair. The unkind .weatherman started in the dfbrenoon with a drizzle which seemed to increase as the day went on -and by two and three o'clock it was raining quite freely. N'ot that we didn't need the rain, but it came just, at a time to :npoul the fair, but the 'show went on just the same. A lot 'pf fine horses were shown, as well Other' livestock, the inside exhibits were also very good, in fact Ivir. E. F. ¥tlopp who has been with the fair for router 30 years said the exhibits were outstanding. It is indeed dis- couraging to the executive of the fair board, after doing so much work and time to it then have a rain come and roar the success thereof. How. - 29 -3U ever we must Iook fior a. better day next year, anyway the bean harvest- ing .did not hinder anyone this year fro* attending. So here's, hoping for a bettter day next year. l ROMINENT HENSALL MAN PASSES Lute George Mark Drysdale Residents of Hensall and commute- dty were -.shocked to learn of the sud- den passing of Mr George 3.lark, Drysdale, prominent Hensall resident and businessman who died suddenly 1-3 !Soutlh Huron Hospital, Exeter, Monday evening, +Sept. 26th, 1955.
