Cooler Weather
Cooler weather has mover in this
part of Canada, and it is welcome as
most; of us were getting .a bit tired of
the continued unseasonable hot wea-

1 ate Jain Hugh M`cGregor
:John Hugh MacGregor r, resident
of Grand Bend for the past six years
passed away Wed. Aug. 24 in . his
73rd year. He was ,married to the
former Myrtle Webb and was, in ail-
ing health for 16 months. Born. in Mo
Gillinzay Twp. and had farmed on the
homestead south of. Greenwu;; and
retired to Exeter' where he spent 8
years, later moving to the Bend. He
served on the McGillivray •cou.nicil for
many years and was active in the
Greenway United ohurch. Surviving.
besides his wife are three daughters
and 7 ,grandchildren, two sons and a
brother of Windsor. The body rested
at the T. Harry Hoffman funeral
home, Dashwood until Saturday 27,
at 2 ,p.ni. Rev. Smith officiated and
interment followed in Grand Bend
