New Hamburg on Saturday.
Mr and Mrs Jerome Dietrich were
visitors to London one day last week.
Mrs Edna Oswald of town was vis-
itin over the week -end in Kippen with

joyable anotor trip to Saginaw, Grand
Rapids and other points in the State
of Michigan.
Mrs. Melizza Geiger and son Clare
were last Thursday in Kitchener,
where they visited their cousin, Mr.
Percy Weidioi at the K -W. Hospital.
Mr. Weido is getting along very nice-
ly at the present Hine.

OBITUARY
Late John Joseph Ducharme
There passed away in the 'Herman
Keiffer Hospital, Detroit John Joseph
Ducharme on Friday, August 12th,
111955 in his 26th year, after a short
illness of only a week. Born on July
19th, 1930 in Detroit. His parents
.side on the 14th 'Concession Hay
Township and are Joseph E. Duch-
arme and mother Edna McCliinchey.
The departed was highly regarded
by all who knew him, he attended
Our Ludy Queen of Heaven Church,
Detroit; was member of the Holy
Name Society; a member of the Am-
erican Legion and was a Sergeant in
the 8th Cavalry Division in Korea for
three years. 'Surviving besides bis
parents are one brother, Raymond at
home, 14th Con., Hay Twp; three
sisters: (Beatrice :Mrs. Harvey
Spitzer, Detroit; (Joan) Mrs, Mel
Roath, Windsor; Marie Caroline, at
home. The body rested at the par-
ent's home until Monday at 10 a.ro.
