summer vacation in town with Mr.

former will join the teaching staff of
the London Technical School:

several days at the home of her dau-
ghter, • Mr and Mrs Elroy Desjardine
and has returned to her home accom-
panied by her granddaughter Sandra
Desjardine.
Mr and Mrs Delton Boshart and
family from Petersburg were Sunday
visitors at the home of their friends

Bronson line.
Mr and Mrs !Morley Witmer and
granddaughter Kathie of Detroit, en-
joyed the holiday week -end at the
home of their relatives in Zurich and
Vicinity. Also enjoyed a motor trip
up north.
Mrs. Fred Batstone and three
daughters of Toronto returned to the
city after spending a week at the
home of her sister Mr and Mrs Ed.
Gascho. Janet Gascho ,accompanied
them to the city for a week's vacation

home of their cousins Mr and Mrs.

Mr. Fred Haberer who is stin con-
fined to St. Joseph's Hospital, Lon-

School Picnic
S.S No. 18, Hay with :the parents
and teacher, Mrs E. Becker, enjoyed
their picnic at Turnbull's Grove on
Thursday June 28rd.. The four
grades, 7 and 8 enjoyed a bus trip
to Goderich, touring the salt plant,
and other points of interest.
Mr and Mrs Emil. Pecker and fam-
ily left Tuesday June 28 en a trip
to the West Coast.

Dashwood school enjoyee picnics
en Friday, June 2411. Mr. 'Middle-
ton took the senior room to his 'home
at Bayfield where they toured his
farm and enjoyed a picnic lunch.
After lunch Lynda Tieman read an
