Mrs. Ed. Deters, Sr., has returned
,from St. Joseph's Hospital, London,
nalich improved in health.
Liss Verdi Baechler who has been
a patient in Victoria Hospital, Lon-
don, has returned home, we wish her
continued recovery.
Mrs, Arthur Edighoffer has return-
ed -from St. Joseph's Hospital, London
where she was a patient. We wish her
a speedy recovery.
:fir. Leroy O'Brien•is progressing
favourably at his home here after be-
ing a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital
London. We are pleased to meet Le-
roy on the street looking so well.

she has returned from London hosp-
ital and is improving nicely at her
home, Bronson line after bemg at
tide, hospital for three weeks.

Mrs. Earl Love entertained at a

at ,her home on the Parr Line, in
honor of her elder daughter, Elva,

18th. Miss Norma Love attended the
door and the guests were received by

book. The tea taible, covered with
a lace cloth was centred with a
bo*l of red roses and pink candles
remembered,me in their prayers, the
CWIL for the box they sent me, and
for the many beautiful cards and
treats, while I was in the hospital

dore and Mrs. Miller of Zurich. Rev.
W. C. Parrott officiating and Mrs • W.
Berge played the wedding music. The
bride given in marriage by her
father looked lovely wearing an im-
ported gown of Spanish lace and
nylon tulle over satin, and carried a
white Bible with red roses and stre-
amers knotted with rose buds. The
matron of honor was Mrs. Gerald
Keller, sister of the bride, and BBs-
abeth Ellerington of Exeter was
flower girl. The best man was Arthur
Miller, of Zurich., brother of the
groom, and Teddy La4bute . of Wind-
sor, nephew iof the groom, was page
boy. The ushers were Wm. Chowen of
Clinton and Holbert •Miller of Dash-
wood. Receiving in the church par-
lors were the bride's mother, assist-
ed ;by the groom's another wearing
corsage. For a wedding trip to Nia-
gara Falls and U.S.A., the bride don-
ned a navy and white ensemble and
a corsage of red roses. On their re-
turn they will reside at Grand Bend.
Guest were ,present from Chatham,
Windsor, Clinton, Zurich and Exeter.

4-H. Club Meet
The regular meeting of the Zurich
4-H Calf 'Club was held on June 30
an the farm af. Herb Klopp. A class
of Aberdeen Angus sows was judged
:before moving into the barn. Club
leader Herb Klopp introduced the
guest speaker, Dr. Garnet Leitch of
Zurich, who talked on diseases of
cattle. He said many dairy fanners
are going out of 'business •bceause of
mastitis in cattle due to carelessness,
and insanitation, This could be con-
trolled by sanitation, ventilation, iso-
late the sick where possible, heredity,
feedieg a balanced ration.
A quiz followed on the diseases of
cattle. The roll tail was answered by
eleven members. Tickets were sold
for''the Huron County 14,-11 twain trip
to. Toronto on July 19th. Places of
interest to be visited are; The Swift
plant, Canada Packers, the Parlia-
ment buildings, the subway and an
International League ball game in the
evening. The, meeting was adjourned
and lunch served by Mrs. Klopp, -•-1
