Our Next Holiday
Friday, July 1st will be observed
in Canada as a National Holiday and
shouldbe considered as the day our
nation became organized into the
Dominion of Canada, and we are told
one of the finest 'place in the world
to live in. Good Governments with
a goad s)ytstem, freedom, and plenty
of room for all to expand. Observe'
this anniversary in a respectful and
modest way and we will all be proud
of our beautiful country and what it
mens to us.

A goodly number of villagers at-
tended the big Tom Pryde picnic

played a lot of humor. Mr. Elston
Cardiff, M.P. of the Huron Riding;
Mr-. John Hanna, M.P.P., North Hur-
on and Mr. Pryde M.P.P. of this im-
mediate riding. The setting was out-
standing in this lovely grove, away
from hhe noisy commotions in more
central locations. The evening was
also very favourable.
