-WHITE GLOVES AGAIN
Huron County scores once again !
There were no serious ,criminal cases
on the docs et at the recent Assizes in
Goderic'h. Mr. Justice J. M. King
was presented with the customary
white gloves. He warmly congratu-
lated our County on its freedom from
crime. Huron County has a wonder-
ful record in this regard. In the past
H years there have been very few
serious criminal cases. A Judge of
30 years' experience declared, "Sev-
enty-five ipercent of all criminal cag-
es in my court involved drink." The
C.T.A. must be given credit for our
excellent record. No legal outlets for
liquor sale exists in Huron. Bottle
Clubs and other illegal bootlegging
joints have fared ill of late. The
record sof convictions for 1954' Is im-
pressive, "I drink but I wouldn't
becaught in one of those bottle clubs'
declared a reputable citizen of "One -
town," -(somewhere in Huron re-
cently). - Ad.t, Published by the
Huron Coounty Temperance Feder-
ation.
