Samuel Ropp of town met with a painful accident when soine heavy boards fell on his left ankle, causing a fracture, at :the Kalbfieisch Mills. Medical aid was given and the ankle put in a cast. CALF CLUB MEET The first annual meeting of the Zurich 4-11. Calf Club was held .on April lst in the Zurich Town Hall.1 The election of officers was held which resulted as follows: President Edgar Willert; Vice -President, John Eckel; Secretary, Floyd Turner; Press Reporter, Mary. Geiger, Mr. Harold Baker, the Associate Agricultural Representative talked on the duties of each officer ,and led a discussion on .parliamentary procedure. Sweat- ers, crests, pins, manuals and report books were given out followed by a quiz on parliamentary procedure. If there are any young people between the age of 12 and 21 who are inter- ested in a 4-H Club ,contact one of the 'leaders - ;Herb Klapp, Anson M-ebinley and Carl Oestrei'eher.
