Property Changes Hands
Mr and Mrs Harvem Clausius and
daughters; accompanied oy friends,

bery, Indiana, were week -end visitors
with relatives and friends in Zurich
and community, and while here Mr.

attractive home a mile north of town
to Mr and Mrs Earl Deichert. We
wish them every success. This was
the first time Vir. and Mrs. Taylor
were in Canada, and they liked it

The Zurich Flyers did not look so
good in ,the first game of the round
robin playoffs last Thursday evenm'g,
•March 10th .when they journeyed to
Orangeville, a trip of over 100 miles
and those fellows of the north made
sure to win this game on their home
ice by defeating the Flyers 9-4, but
the Flyers snapped back on Satur-
day evening when they met the Port
Elgin Jaycees in the 'Hensall arena
and beat them with a 6-5 defeat. It
was a hard fought game, plenty of
the rougher hockey with many; pen-
alties, just the brand of hockey that
the fans go for: Dun Hesse paced the
winner' attack, collecting a parr ot
goals, while Wilson counted for the
losers. Other scorers for the flyers
`were Rawlings, B. Hayter, 13. Lignac
and Dong. O'Brien. Bill Mettler, the
goalie for Zurich, played an out-
standing game. Orangeville, 'w?,o Ilan
two wins under the belt was defeated
at Port Elgin Monday night and will
play the Zurich Flyers this Wednes-
day night at Clinton. The round
