Mrs. Elmore Thiel of town is a
patient at. Clinton Puiblic Hospital
and is progressing nicely. Her many
friends wish her a speedy recovery
with continued health.

Miscellaneous Shower
Last Friday evening, relatives,
neighbours and• friends were invited
to .the miscellaneous shower held in
the Evangelical U. B. ,church base-
ment in honor •of the bride elect,Miss
Betty O'Brien, who was ushered to a
white and pink chair decorated for

The bridal music was played by Mrs.
John Turkheiln at the piano. This
gave much ;fun and laug.'iser. Miss
Betty Ann Gasohol read the address,
Iwhi]e Misses Judy and sister Bonnie

'lovely and useful gifts. Betty re-
