Mr. John Geoffrey of the 14th,
Con., is enjoying a few weeks with
his son, Mr and Mrs Felix Geoffrey
at Toronto. Mr. Geoffrey was in
Toronto during the flood and exper-
ienced many things• that we here in
Huron Comity know so little off.

Mrs. Annie Heist, 81, who `died at
the .home of, her son, Lloyd, Detroit,
oict. 24th, was the former Annie
Williams of Crediton. Her husband,
Ezra Haist, died several years ago.
Surviving are one daughter, .Mrs.
Madeline Howell, San Francisco; two
sons, Leonard land Lloyd, Detroit,
and one sister, .Mrs. Lena Cotk, Cam-
lachie. The remains rested at. the
Hoff pan Funeral Hone, Das rwood,
till Wednesday afternoon when. serv-
ices were held in the Crediton Zion
Evangelical ;Church 1,vith interment
in Crediton Cemetery. -
