BASEBALL NEWS
Dashwood Takes Two
In the two recent games of ball
between the Zurich Lumber Kings
and Dashwood Tigers the latter took
both, winning the first 1-0 and then
last Wednesday eve. they drubbed the
locals. 8-1, both of these were former
tie games re -played. Bob Storm with
a triple and home run in three trips
to the plate and Kleinstiver with a
double and single, were tne realting
batters for the winners. The batter-
ies were for Zurich, Heianrich, Bells
and Rawlings; for Dashwood Guen-
ther and Hayter.
These two teams will now be enter-
ing in the first round in the playoffs,
and following are the dater,
August 13 at Dashwood
16th at Zurich.
118th at Dashwood
20th at Zurich
23rd at Dashwood
25th at urich
27th at Dashwood.
All these games will' be interesting
and the boys will 'be doing their best
to Will. Remember last year's play-
off games when Zurich took the first
three games and then the Tigers
found their range and took the next
four from Znrich, winning the series.
It should again be a great contest.
