Stret Paving
During the past week the street
paving program for the year was
completed and as far as it went a
fine job was done. The area. covers
Frederick street from the ighway
north; all of Mary .Street, and Louise
St. from Frederick east to Gosnen.if
the village next year paves a similar
amount and so on, in a few years
Q we will have streets that writ be very
easy to maintain, at little cost.

annual Lions Frolic will be• held in
Zurich, to which the public is cord-
ially invited. Our Lions Cluns are
$ doing a lot of good with welfare -work
• and help just where it is needed the
• most. They have a very limited av-
enue of raising money fo{arry out
this work, the annual fret . is about
• the only method at present. So :be
at your best and come out and give
the boys a lift to raise a bit of money
There will be a good program and
lots of fun at the various games, you

fortune to suffer a fall on Saturday
evening. X-rays taken tat South Hur-
on Hospital, Exeter, reveal a cracked
bone in her left wrist which will be
