Harvest Progressing
Farmers are progressing nicely
with ilreir harvest which in general,
regardless of the very dry season is
a good crop. Owing to the rather
cool night crops are not ripening as
fast as some years, which gives them
a better chance to fill out.

PLAN BEAN FESTIVAL
Taking advantage of the fact that
more beans are handled in Rensall in
a year than in almost any other place
in Ontario, the Hensel]. Kinsman
Club is laying plans for an Ontario
Bean Festival, to be held in the vill-
age on Labor Day, .Sept. 6. While ar-
rangements have not been completed
Dr. D. J. McKelvie, the club prestcrent
said the event would include, in ad-
dition to a bean upper in the arena,
a parade, a 'complete entertarrunent
program, "and an industrial exhibit,
featuring displays of interest to those
engaged in any aspect of the bean
indusry. The club has made arrange-
ments with A. H. Wilford, of Tor-
onto, well-known pubic relations
councillor, who has been retained by
the Huron County Industrial 'Comm-
ittee, to assist in working out arran-
gements for the event.
