third week drilling operations on the
farm of Mr. Alif. Reichert, Hay Twp.
•There have been strong indications
of oil on the Reichert farm. The Co.
expects it will take a few more we-
eks before a 'decision •can be arrived.
Miss Helen •Spellman of Kitchener
was a graduate this year of the St.
Marys High School. She took the
Edna Motz medal for having the
highest standing in Maths. •She is the
daughter of Dr and Mrs. J. A. Spell-
man of Kitchener.
Mrs. James Wright of Kippen is on
a holiday trip to Nova Scotia.

ated from an advance course in auto-
matic transmissions at General Mot-
ors Training Centre held recently.
G. M. -Training Centres, which short-
ly will be in operation in ten strat-
egically located cities across the Do-
minion, will enaible service personnel
to keep up to date on continuing
basis with the latest sea -vice methods
and technological advance such ies
