completion of burning would be ten

easy payment terms, paying three
dollars an acre. They were hard wor-

has also a beautiful .church and par-
ish, which was 'founded by our fore-
parents, which are worthy of deep
gratitude from the present reigning
generations. We are also deeply M-
debted to tho se dear old pioneers of
this perish for the many religious
traditions they have left in their
pathway. True they have not lived to
enjoy their presence in person, but
perhaps God inspired through his
love for theni some means that they
too enjoy the fruits of their lalbours.
This is not the history of this par-
ish, but only a few brief notes given
at random and up to the past week,
the Centenial celebration was
complete success. Old boys and old
girls from different parts of this
country and the States responded to
the invitation; all of which the var-
ious committees are grateful.
The parish enjoyed the 'first after-
noon Mass offered by his Excellency
Bishop Cody of London, on 'Saturday
afternoon, after which a dainty ban-
quet was prepared and served to a
fell filled hall. Those in charge are
to be complimented for their skill and
good work. Mr. Charles Rau was

duty with whit and humor to keep
the entire audience in good spirit.
