County will remain dry. In May vot-
ers voted about 4 to 1 against permit-
ting beer or liquor outlets within the
township borders. Thus did the people
of Pustinch strongly affirm the last
liquor vote, taken 40 years ago. The
vote was on 5 questions: liquor sale
from Government stores, beer sale
from Government outlets, beverage of day or night. So don't get wrinle

low: "Really now, is' Puslinch Lake
(a delightful and popular summer re-
sort) a good place to put a beer par-
lour? According to an -estimate sup-
plied by an O.P.P. officer, 70 per
cent of the deaths due to accidents
in 1952 were aused by drinking driv-

Re taxes: "We hear a good deal of
talk about ho:w these outlets will help
our taxes. The ifact is they will COST

get even one dollar of this tax, the
Township must provide Police Protec-
