testant Churches. They were inter-
ent; Thos. Pryde, MLA. also spoke.
After the opening and dedication ex-
ercises the party adjurned to the
Bedford House for refreshments.
This was followed by a showing
through the fine new plant, which is
in operation. The last visit was a
call on Mr. Black the president, who
presented each visitor with a very
fine Sheafler pen, something we shall
always cherish. It was indeed a
nicely arranged affair, and Huron
County can be prHPud of having such
an industry e01,0e in its midst. The
personell of this new enterprise teas
outstainik Sind it pleasure to moot
ested in, doing something constructive
to defeat juvinile delinquency. The
young people were greatly impressed
with this new type of temperance
meeting. Three other centres have
held similar Conclaves. Last year
more than 1350 youth in Ontario met
thus under the auspces of the church-
es and Y.P. organizations. The On-
tario Temperance Federation, when,^,e
.the idea originated,has many requests
from different centres to launch the
project in their area. We in hluron
County have taken steps to stage a
Conclave here in the near future--
