SEE PILGRIM STATUE .
The Pilgrim Statue of Our Lady
of Fatima, as announced, visited the
St. Peter's Church, -St. Joseph and
St Boniface Church,' Zurich, on
Thursday and Friday of last week.
.Large audiences attended both thus-
apes, and many people were in deep
devotions. The purpose of the visit is
to recall the six appartions of the
Blessed Virgin Mary in Portugal in
1917 to three children and to urge
the people to penance and prayer for
World peace. The Rev. Father Moore,
of .the Scarboro Foreign ,Mission So-
cielt, preached. Father Moore nas
been travelling in many cuntries with
the statue during the past six years.
He appeals for unity of non-Catholis
and Catholic in the battle against
Communism. He said that he reels
that even yet men in general may be
saved from the heavy threat of an
all-out war if they will turn to God
and do penance. Father Moore was
introduced in Zurich by Rev. Father
M. D. Monaghan. In a ceremony
Miss Barbara Denomme crowned the
statue with a wreath of flowers.
