Died at Detroit
Nicholas Deichert passed away at
the home of his son Harold, at De-
troit, Mich on May 15th, in his .82nd
year. Ife ewes born in Zurich, being
a member -of the well known Deichert
family, and as a young man went to •
Detroit. The remains were raid to
rest in White ,Chapel Cemetery. Sur-
viving is a son, Harold and a grand-
daughter; a sister, Mrs. Henry Yung -
Mut of Zurich. Members of the
Yungblut family attended the fun-
eral and vieited tles remains.

motored to Detroit for the week -end
to visit at the homeof their .sister,
Mr and Mrs :Morley 'Witmer.
Mr and Mrs Ed. Wendorf of Clin-
ton were Sunday evening visitors at
the home of their friends, Mr and
Mrs. C, L. Smith
Mr and Mrs Russell Tieman and
children of Exeter spent the week-
end with her father, Mr. Milfred
Schilbe.
Mr. Donald Charrette and boy fri-
end of Detroit, were holiday visitors
at the home of the formers grand-
nother, Mm's. David Ducharme.
Mr and Mrs Roy Oliver of St.
Marys were week- end visitors at the
home of Mrs. Charles Weber and
Mrs. Oliver's -sister, Mrs. Hy. Eick-

Erwin Greb Passes
Erwin Greb, son of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Charles Greb, formerly of
Zurich and nephew of Mrs. Mary
Brenner, Zurich, passed away at
the K. W. Hospital, Kitchener, on
May 18th in .his 60th year. rle left
Zurich when at the .age of 10 years
with his parents who moved to Kitch-
ener, where they became owners of
the ,Greb Shoe Factories. He was be-
loved by his employees and had a
large circle •offriends.Survwing is
his sorrowing wife, the feernee Chira
whom he married in 1914 at
Kitchener, and three sons. The funer-
al took place from the itatz-Bechtel
Funeral- Home, where the floveers
were banked untold, showing the es- •
teem love to the one that had gone
on before. His aunt Mrs. Mary
Brenner, Zurich, attended the fun-
eral.
