Attend Convention at Huron College The Misses Manor and Margaret Becker, Anna Mesanex and Billy Becker attended the Ontario District Convention of the Walther League at Huron College over the weer -end. Most of them appeared on the Cf PI., TV newsreel Monday evening. Died Near Dashwood Edmund Maier passed away sud- denly at his residence on Monday, May 17th in his 60th year. Althongli not enjoying the best of health he Was about the farm that day. He farmed and did trucking. Beside., his Wife, the former Maria Burmeis- ter, he is survived by 8 daughters and ,two sons. One son Harold was kilted in action in World War No. 2, One sister,• Mrs. Albert Morenz, of Grand Bend. Also two brothers.
