Spring Is Here
' Real warm springlike weather has
been ushered in this week, frogs are
doing their music, and birds are sin-
ging, just like they, ,should at:,` ;this
time of year. Ziwo years ago farm-

operations. Last week all former
records were broken for cold, along
April 3rd; and at present there is a

the program was presented in two
sections, one by the massed student

the other by the students of the Zur-

was due to the teachers : of
the area, along.with the music super-
visors, Mr. Lawry nce Wein of Exeter•
and Mr Douglas Gill of Grand Bend,

n the program and the spirit' of co-
operation which they had displayed..
throughout• its preparation. We vsxre
impressed by the way in which the
rural students worked together so
well although they had not re'hearsea
together before they mounted the
stage that evening. !Many of the
numbers presented will be used in
the competitions of the. South Huron
Music Festval in, Exeter on April 12.
The program gave the parents of the
Township for the first time an opper=
tunty to see and hear just what their
1 children were learning at school; in
the way • of music, and as well `let
them see how the Area School Board
has encouraged the integration of its
educational program by a concerted
effort toward eco -operation of all its
schools : for the benefitof. all. The
vocal music was supplimented ,by two
instrumental' numbers - va flute trio
