Dashwood Men's Club neld their
Monthly .business .meeting in their
club rooms on Monday night with 28
members present. The .financial report
was given regarding the box social
and euchre held recently. It was de-
cided to plant trees on the commun-
ity Centre Property; where plans are
under way for the erection of a new
hall. A donation was also sent for
the crippled children fund. The com-
mittee in charge treated the memb-
ers to a pig tail banquet. The meet-
ing closed with the National Anthem.

Jan. 26th, three ,Servicemen from
Camp Ipperwash were received as
members of the Lutheran Church,
MVlisoure Synod, by the rite of bap-
tism and confirmation. Priv. Edwin
Benton Martenson of Midale, Sask.,
was baptised and confirmed, tPrivate
Aleck 'Phomas Olsen of Edson, Albt.
and Priv. Gerald Edward Tosh of
Kitchener, Ont., were confi:rmed.They
were prepared for reception as mem-
bers of the Lutheran Church by
Major H. •Merklinger, Chaplain in the
