to her home for two weeks. Her

Celebrates Birthday
'Mrs. Joseph. Rau was pleasantly
surprised last Thursday evening when
all the members of her family were
present to spend a social evening.
The occasion was her •birthday. Mrs.
Rau is now 81 years of age, -The
evening was spent in playing canasta
and euchre, after which a sumptuous
lunch was served. The falnlry pres-
ented their mother with a baby chen-
ille spread and other gift,;. Mrs Rau
thanked thein gracioilsly and was her
usual joval self. She enjoys the best
of health and is active in allcom-
munity affairs. Her many friends
wish her the best .of health and many
more such events.
