SEED FAIR HUGE SUCCESS
The seventh annual seed fair was
held at Clinton Friday and Saturday,
Mar. 12-13 with a 'bid success and
a fine attendance: There were 144
entries by 41 exhibitors, and the
quality: of exhibits shown was •high.
Prof. Robert Keegan, field husbandry
depart. Ont. Agricultural College,
said the quality -was the best he
had ever seen in Huron County. The

CANADA TO SUPPLY FOOD
Ian R. Maxwell, a member of a
new British investment house in Mon-
treal, said he is negotiating a $20,
000,000 deal that would send surplus
Canadian farm products to Russia.
He is a memberof the 30 -man Brit-
ish trade delegation sent to Moscow
to test Russia's sincerity on resumpt-
ion of trade with the West, said the
produce would include butter, skim
milk, cheese, wheat and some salmon.

election December'llth. Among the
