Injured With .Hot Water
Little Diane McKinley, aged. -3,
eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Robert McKinley of the Goshen line
north, who had the misfortune of
backing in a bucket of hot . water
containing wash, one day last week.
Medical attention was given immed-
iately and we are .pleased to report
Diane is progressing as well as can
be expected. We wish her a speedy
recovery.
Dies In Detroit
Word was received here of the
passing of Mr. Edward Hertz, at his
home in Detroit, the funeral was on
Tuesday afternoon of this week. 'I
Mr. Hertz, who was a carpenter b
trade with his wife some years ago
purchased from Mr. and Mrs. Tlenry
Walper on the Babylon line the
dwelling property! along with some
land which they still awn, and mak-
ing considerable improvements they
have now a very fine summer home,
which they enjoyed during the sum=
aver months, moving back and forth
with the change of the seasons. They
have made many friends who greatly
