Allan had gone into the service sta- tion and when he returned a few Ininutes later fire and smoke was pouring from the motor underneath the hood. Considerable damage was done. Mrs, Louise Witmer Mrs, Louise Winner, 77, a form- er resident of Exeter, died on Sun- day 14th in Victoria Hospital, Lon- don. She had been ill for the past 10 weeks. She was born near Zurich, the former Louise Koehler, a daught- er of the late Mr and Mns. Jacob Koehler. Following her marriage to David Witmer, they farmed on .the Baby -ion Line. Mr, Witmer died 81 years ago and Mrs. Witmer moved to Exeter. Later she moved to 'Med- ford to live with her daughter, the late Mrs. Henry Schenk.
