ADMINISTERED SPECIAL
BLESSINGS
On Sunday afternoon, January .10,
under the auspices of the Catholic
Women's League, a lovely ceremony
was performed at St. Peter's R. C.
Church, St. Joseph, when .Monsignor
Bourdeau reconsecrated the families
present to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
and the Immaculate Heart of Mary
and then gave a 'special blessing to
the little babies and -children vp te
eleven years.
After Benediction, the children
were invited over to the hall.. There
Miss Patsy Denornme, beautifully
portraying an Angel of the Lord in
flowing pink gown, huge feathery
wings and golden 1-alo, presided over
a long table on which stood a statue
of the Infant Jezus, flanked by
bowies of pink azalca:. and surround-
ed by hags of goodies. As each.
child came up' to the table the Angel
presented him with one of tne bags
in which a blessed medal was an • ad-
ded gift. It was a striking and din-
press-ive way of showing the children
that all we possess in this life is given
to us Iby God through the bands of
His Angels and Saints.
