Celebrate Anniversary
Zurich Couple Wed 25 Years
'December 22nd.
• It was a happy dap for Mr and
Mrs. Whitney! Brokenshire on Time -
day December 22nd when their neigh-
bours and friends very pleasantly
surprised them in the afternoon by
calling at their home to' extend 'con-
gratulations and also presenting them
with \rmr lovely and useful gifts.
In the evening they were again
taken by surprise when relatives and
fiends gathered at their home to
honer them on this very special oc-
casion.
Mr. Ed. Kalbfleisch, who was the
groomsman twenty-five years ago,
presented them with a silver tray on
behalf of the brothers and sisters to
which the groom of twenty-five year
vety favourably replied.

those in charge and a very enjoyable

Late Caroline Gesell
There passed away at the home of
her daughter, Hay Township, on Tu-
esday December 29th 1953, Caroline
Schmidt, wife of the late Joseph
Oesch in her 93rd year; clear mother
of Mrs. Rude Oesch (Elizabeth) of
Hay Township; Samuel and • David,
of [Stanley Twp'e The body rested at
the Westlake fuleeral home, Zurich,
until Friday, Jahr lst where a

held in the Mennonite Church in
Zurich with interment in the Mennon-
