home from South Huron Hospital,
Exeter, vvhere he received treat-
ment for an injured finger.
Mrs. Ivan Schantz, Preston, has
returned to her home after spend-
ing two weeks with her daughter
and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Stanley Gingerich.
Mr. and Mrs. Josiah Steckle
and family were Sunday visitors
with Mr. and Mrs. Allen Steckle.
Mrs. Roy Gingerich has return-
ed home from Clinton Public Hos-
pital, and it improving favourably.

Gascho were Sunday visitors with
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Steckle and

Officers were elected at a joint
meeting of the Women's Mission-
ary Society and the Ladies Aid of
Carmel Presbyterian Church, held
in the church schoolroom.
WMS officers are: president,
Mrs. Earl Campbell; vice-presi-
dent, Mrs. Percy Campbell; secre-
tary, Mrs. Malcolm Daugall; treas-
urer, Mrs. Ed Munn; supply .sec-
retary, Mrs. Basil Edwards; flower
secretary, Mrs. G. C. Vais; wel-
come and welfare, Mrs, Sam Doug-
all and Mrs. Vais; Glad Tidings,
Mrs. Munn; literature and library,
Mrs. Munn; Home Helpers, Mrs.
Harvey Hyde; pianist, Mrs, Munn.
Mrs. Sam Dougall, a past presi-
dent, conducted the election and
presented Mrs. Rochus Faber with
a life membership certificate.
