Prior to living in Grand Bend they lived on the Bluewater highway for a number" of years. Mr, and Mrs. Denomme have seven children, most of whom were home to help cel- ebrate the anniversary: (Eva) Mrs. Dr. Carsen, De- troit; (Frieda) M r s. Ben Dean, Detroit; Garfield, Blue - water highway; (Euleen) Mrs. John Henne Ram, Monkton; (Reama) Mrs. Stanley Leigh, London; (Avalon) Mrs. Lester Jackson, Detroit; and Donald, London. They have also 19 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Sisters of Mrs. Denomme are: Mrs. Edith Du- rand, Zurich; Mrs. Lerina Rose, Zurich; and Mrs. Ed. Stella) Parkes, London. Mr. Denomme is a son of Mrs. Regis Denomme, and the late Regis Denomme, of the Bluewater highway. His moth- er, who is now 94 years old, is a patient in St. Mary's Hospital, London. Mr. and Mrs. James Alex- ander Denomme, Grand Bend, celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with a family gathering at their home on Saturday, October 30. They were married in Goderich, on November 3, 1909. Mrs. Den- omme is the former Jessie Florence Weston, of Goderich Township. Better known as, "Jimmy the Barber", Mr. Denommme has been barbering for the were weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Len Wagner. Mrs, Edna Oswald was a visitor in Kippen last Tuesday with her granddaughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Howard7Finkbeiner. Miss Irene Cross and Wilson Sararas, New Dundee, and Mrs. Melissa Geiger, were Sunday vis- itors with Mrs. Edna Oswald. Mr. and Mrs. William F. Braun, Forest, were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Hoffman, and other relatives. Mr. Martin, of the Elmira dis- trict, was a weekend visitor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Menno Steckle, on the Bronson Line. Mrs. Harold Thiel, Zurich, and Mrs. Howard Finkbeiner, Kippen, attended the Women's Institute convention at Kitchener last Tues- day. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson and son, London, were weekend vis- itors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Bullock, on the Bronson line. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Pfaff and family, St. Marys, were Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lee 0. Hoffman, Mrs. Pfaff's parents. 0 - - Guide Association Meets In FlensaIl (By our Hensel! The following members were elected to office for 1959-60: president, Mrs. How- ard Scene; secretary, Mrs. Thomas Reid; treasurer, Mrs. Harvey Keys; finance, Mrs. Ernest Chip - chase; camp committee represent- ative, Mrs. C. Faber; public rela- tions, Mrs. Earle Rowe. Mrs. Thomas Lavender, the re- tiring president, gave a report on the Huron Division regarding Camp Keewaydin.
