FAREWELL PARTY
A very pleasant evening was
spent at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Gladwin Westlake, on Friday eve-
ning, when members of the choir
and the Sunday School teachers of
St. Andrew's United Church, Bay-
field, met to honour Miss Doreen
McKenzie, prior to her entering
Queen's University at Kingston.
Games and contests were enjoy-
ed, and Miss McKenzie was pre-
sented with a pen and pencil set
on behalf of the gathering.

week are the dates of the Bayfield
Fall Fair. Friday is the first day,
and will. see alI the exhibitors
bringing their goods to the show
house to be judged. On Saturday
night there will be a dance in the
Town Hall, which will wind up
