a motor trip to Northern Ontario.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Gingerich
spent the weekend at their cot-
tage at Chesley Lake.
Mr. and Mrs. Lary Hartman
and sons, London, were Sunday
visitors with the former's mother,
Mrs. Theresa Hartman.
Mr. and Mrs. Danny Trushinski
spent Saturday in Walkerton vis-
iting with their relatives in that
town.

ril were sponsors at baptism for
a grandson, the son of Mr, and

weekend visitors at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Haberer, also
attending the Meyer - Haberer

Mrs. Theresa Hartman and sons

Ducharme and Mrs. L. P. Duch -
meeting of the season on Thurs-
day night. They formed the horse-
shoe formation and then had elec-
tion of officers.
Ruth Clausius was elected pat-
rol leader of the Orioles, with
Mary Ellen Thiel for her secon-
der. Elizabeth Johnson was elect-
ed patrol leader of the Sham-
rocks, with Barbara Clausius for
her seconder. Ruth Ann Flaxbard
was elected secretary.
Court of Honour was held. The
meetings for the next month were
discussed.
Mrs. Wallace Rose is to be the
Guide leader, with Miss Carol Erb
for lieutdnant,

in Wesley -Willis United Church, Clinton, on Saturday,
August 29, 1959, by the Rev. Grant Mills, The bride is
Shirley Elizabeth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Dales,
Clinton, and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis
Taylor, Varna. The couple will reside on the groom's
farm near Varna.

Mr. and Mrs. Ross Faber, Kip -
pen, entertained at their home on
Saturday evening in honour of the
25th Wedding Anniversary of the
latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. El-
zar Mousseau, Kippen.
The guest book, in charge of
their son-in-law, Ross Faber, was
signed by some eighty relatives,
neighbours and friends.
Beautiful gifts displayed by
their daughter, Mrs. Ross Faber,
included a silver tea service, door
chimes, cutlery in stainless steel,
two crystal bowls and other gifts.
In charge of the luncheon were
four neices of Mr. and Mrs. Mous-
seau: Mrs. Jim Parkins, Mrs,.
Reginald Black, Znrich, Mme`;:

Ruby Cecile Webster, Hensall,
and Wayne Orville Ford, Exeter,
exchanged marriage vows before
the Rev. R. March in a pretty
ceremony at Central United Ch-
urch manse, Stratford, on Satur-
day, September 19, at 2 p.m. The
bride is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Percy Webster, Hensall, and
the groom's parents are Mr. and
Mrs. Orville Ford, Exeter.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, was lovely in a floor
length wedding gown of nylon
lace styled with lily point sleeves.
A crown headdress held her sh-
oulder length veil of nylon lace,
and she carried a bridal bouquet
of red roses and white 'mums.
Mrs. Kenneth Wildfong, Exeter
attended her sister as maid of
honour, wearing a waltz length
gown of lilac nylon over taffeta,
and she carried white and blue
'mums.
Kenneth Wildfong, Exeter, was
groomsman.
For the weding reception held
at the home of the bride's par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Web-
ster, Hensall, the bride's mother
received wearing navy bengaline
with white accessories, and pink
rose corsage. The groom's mother
chose a gown in light blue shade
with accessories in white, wear-
ing a red rose corsage.
The bridal table• was centered,
with a thre tier wedding cake,
flanked with red roses and white
'mums.
For travelling for their honey-
moon to London and Windsor the
bride donned a light) lue nylon
crepe ensemble with white ac-
cessories and pink rose corsage,

Over 50 teenagers attended an
organization meeting at the Mem-
orial Centre, Hensall, last Friday
evening, when plans were discus-
sed and programs arranged for
the dances to be held every Fri-
day night.
All teenagers from 13 to 21 are
invited to attend. Rules and reg-
ulations were drawn up which the
teenagers must abide by. J. R.
"Scotty" Hume, recreation direc-
tor, conducted the election of of-
ficers: president, Ron. Broderick;
vice -president, Patricia Rowe;
